As a somatic and attachment focused therapist I support adolescents, parents, young adults, and adults struggling with trauma, life transitions, parenting, relationship concerns, and challenges related to neurodiversity. I work with my clients to increase their self-understanding and compassion while providing tools to promote change and resilience. I believe we heal in relationships and I provide my clients an authentic and caring space to explore their relationship with themselves, other people, and the environment they live in. I view health from a whole-system perspective, meaning I consider how lifestyle, technology use, relationships, and environment impact mental health.
Sessions with me may look like using somatic tools to better connect to the body, learning how to use feelings and sensations as information rather than being overwhelmed by them. Or I may use psychoanalytic and attachment methods to explore how past relationships impact current ones, identifying unhelpful patterns and strategies to change those patterns. In my nature-based sessions we may go for a walk through the trees or sit beside the water and explore how the world around us can be a guide for healing.
My specialties include:
Neurodiversity (Autism/ADHD)
Complex trauma and PTSD
Attachment and relationship challenges
Depression and anxiety
Foster care and adoption
Perinatal mental health (pregnancy and postpartum)
Currently, I offer virtual therapy for teens, adults, and parents. While I do not provide virtual therapy directly to children, I work closely with parents to offer strategies and insights they can use at home. I also offer limited community-based sessions for those interested in incorporating nature-based approaches into their healing process.
If you are ready to explore, heal, and grow, I'd be honored to meet you where you are and walk alongside you on your journey.
